Safeguarding children is very important to us at Princes Park YFC. We take child protection and best practice extremely seriously at our club.
We believe safeguarding children is about following the correct procedures and doing things properly. It’s about allowing children to enjoy the game without abuse of any kind. That means ensuring that they are not subjected to bullying, physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect.
We want football to have a powerful positive influence on the children at our club and we take the responsibility of looking after the children that want to play football here very seriously. That is why we have a Club Code of Conduct and ensure all our coaches, managers and key volunteers are CRB checked and have attended, or will be attending, a Level 1 coaching course, which includes attendance at a Safeguarding Children Workshop.
If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child at the club, or the behaviour of an adult towards a child, then please contact our Club Welfare Officer, Marie Gallagher on 07931 684702/ email@example.com.
