Child Welfare

PPYFC Safeguarding Policy (this will open as an Adobe pdf document)

Protecting children is very important to us at Princes Park Youth FC. We aim to uphold best practice by following FA safeguarding guidelines.

We believe the best way to safeguard is to follow the correct procedures. Football is about allowing children to enjoy the game without abuse of any kind. That means ensuring that they are not subjected to bullying, physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect.

We want football to have a powerful, positive influence on the children at our Club and we take the responsibility of looking after the children that want to play football here very seriously. That is why we have a Club Code of Conduct and ensure all our coaches, managers and key volunteers are CRC checked and have attended or will be attending a Level 1 coaching course.

If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child at the club, or the behaviour of an adult towards a child, then please contact our Club Welfare Officer, Shannon Pellius on 07904 255 181 or welfare@ppyfc.co.uk.

For any concerns that require a different point of contact, please contact the Club’s Assistant Welfare Officer, Christian Leite, on 07305 048 703 or secretary@ppyfc.co.uk.
